About CareerContainer

We looked at how many online resume builders work and noticed a frustrating pattern. You start creating your resume for free, spending time filling in your experience, education, skills, and achievements. Everything looks ready, but when you try to download your resume, you discover that the PDF export requires a subscription.

Sometimes there is a watermark. Sometimes you need to create an account. Sometimes the price only becomes clear at the very end of the process. We don't think creating a resume should work this way.

Your resume is your information, your work, and your career. You shouldn't have to pay a surprise fee simply to download something you created yourself. So we decided to build a different kind of resume builder.

CareerContainer is built around a few simple principles:

• No Surprise Download Fees: The currently available core resume-building experience is free forever. Create, edit, customize, and export without subscription gates.
• No Account Required: No registration form, password, or email required to use the core resume builder.
• No Watermark: Your resume should represent you, not the tool. We don't add branding across your documents.
• Local-First Core Editor: The current core editor uses browser-managed storage and processing for resume creation. We believe privacy shouldn't be a premium feature.

Whether you are applying for your first job, looking for a better opportunity, switching careers, moving to a new industry, or returning to the workforce, CareerContainer is built to make that process easier.

You shouldn't need to become an expert in resume formatting before you can start applying for jobs.

A professional resume can have a huge impact on someone's career. For students, fresh graduates, job seekers, and people changing careers, paying another monthly subscription just to download a resume can be an unnecessary barrier.

That's why our goal is simple: Keep the currently available essential resume tools free forever, including manual editing, existing templates, customization, and PDF or DOCX downloads.

Most resume builders are built around accounts and cloud databases. CareerContainer takes a different approach. The core resume-building experience is designed to work directly in your browser. Your resume can be created, edited, previewed, and exported locally.

Read more about the current core browser workflow in our Privacy Policy.

A resume builder shouldn't just give you a blank page and expect you to figure everything else out. We're building CareerContainer to make the entire resume creation process easier:

Choose a template → Build your resume → Review it → Export it → Apply

No unnecessary complexity. No complicated setup. Just a straightforward tool for creating a resume you're confident sending to employers.

Our mission is simple:

"Make professional resume creation accessible, private, and free from unnecessary barriers."

We want CareerContainer to be a tool you can open when you need a resume and simply get the job done.

CareerContainer is still evolving. We're continuously improving the templates, editor, formatting, accessibility, performance, and overall experience. If there's something that would make creating your resume easier, we'd love to hear about it.
